Good to hear and nice that you have the choice.

    5k iMac.

I had the same dulemma; 512GB SSD or 2TB Fusion. After lots of reading of forums and other research I went for the Fusion and I'm quite happy with it.

    Check your equipment!!

I regularly look at the front of my lens to make sure it's clean. I seem to automatically check it when I take the lens cap off.

It won't be grey, I'm pretty sure of that. Doubt it would be a Mk4 either as there will still be new Mk3s around for a while after the Mk4 is released.

Beginner Camera sensor size on phones the same size as compact cameras? Whats the difference?

Probably not, in good light. I am a bit fussy about picture quality and I am quite impressed with shots I get from my Samsung S6 in daylight. I wouldn't choose it for shots over my Canon G7X, however.

Assuming the polic is new for old, they need to replace with the nearest equivalent new model. Be Valued is a company that sources electrical goods and the like and they have a database to determine the nearest equivalent model. If they can find a new mk1 or mk2, which I doubt, then that is...

    Advice needed for anniversary present!

Not looked at prices but, for the price of the 100-400, could you maybe get a 60D and one of the other lenses, or get the 100-400 now and a new body for Christmas, 60D or 70D?

Looking to replace tz60 compact camera with a good quality phone camera, what can you recommend ?

Again, over budget, but I am quite impressed with the Samsung S6 camera, and I only ever used to believe in cameras; I have a Canon 70D and a Canon G7X and the G7X probably gets more use than the 70D. I carry that in a belt loop case when I go out.

I still see no issue with a 5DIII on the basis it is a natural progression.

It should be like for like. I suppose you could argue a 6D as a replacement but isn't the 5D3 the current equivalent replacement today for what a 5D would have been, say, 8 years ago?

Good luck in getting it sorted.

Sadly, nothing that can be done about the photos on the card, but remember to include the cost of a replacement card/cards as part of your claim. If you have new for old and your claim is agreed, you should expect to get a 5d Mk3. I dealt with a compact camera claim once and wasn't familiar...

    Stolen equipment - Insurance companies

I work for an insurance broker and spent many years working in both home insurance and claims. With a claims handler hat on, I would be happy, for a 7 year old camera, to accept photos with EXIF data as proof that the camera existed, backed up by the box and the manual. I fail to see how the...

    Canon Imagebrowser Download for Mac

After much Googling and perseverance, it's all sorted. The reason my computer wouldn't recognise my 70D is because even though the WiFi on it was turned off, it was set in the menu to 'Enabled' which disabled the USB on the camera. I realised it wasn't a problem with the computer when the it...
