I have owned several Hoya primes over the years, 28mm and 24mm for Olympus OM they were OK, but my Tamron AD2s were in my opinion better build quality better image quality and more flexible. If it's Hoya you want though, I always find this site a good source of reviews...

Hi Peter, I agree I think the latest version will remove using content aware too, I'd just rather get it right in the camera on film

Andrew, I completely agree, I have a number of excellent Tamron lenses. I too fix them to my Digital Satan Boxes!

I can't resist Tamron lenses. They came with Olympus mounts, so I'm testing on my OM-2SP, but I will be used on some incoming Contax cameras
