Show us yer film shots then!

Some pics taken in Saltwell Park Gateshead. These are the last ones I consider worth sharing from my Fuji C200 film taken with my Yashica FX-D.

    Durham City and Riverside

Durham is one of our regular haunts, so it's inevitable I'll take more photos there (likely digital next time though). I have to say I didn't inadvertently try to check the camera back even once - the whole process is too different to forget it's a film camera.

@BADGER.BRAD I've not really done much apart from taking shots with my phone when the mood took me, and the usual holiday snaps & video. The only reason I got my new SLR was to replace my old tape-based camcorder which recently went belly up (I muck about making music videos for YouTube and I...

I know you're joking, but I still have my old developing tank in the loft somewhere. :D

Thanks for the encouragement chaps. I have more stuff from the same film to post once I get them sorted and resized for posting. It's a whole different experience from digital photography right from lining up the shot to waiting for the negs to come back from the lab and scanning them isn't it?

Right, that probably explains it. Even with the 2 stops extra exposure mine were only just visible.

Yeah those things are really weird-looking. I reckon the artist was on something when he came up with that! :)

The strange 'seat' is part of a stone sculpture in Herrington Country Park called 'site lines'. Each one points to a particular part of the landscape. The 'Parthenon' type building is a Penshaw Monument - a Victorian folly. Here's a couple of links...

    Old Boots Universal film

Just to put this saga to bed, here's a few other shots from that roll. It started out as a revival of shooting on film but ended up as a miracle of digital image recovery - the images on the negs were so faint I had trouble telling which way up the strip was). As it happens, I found a magic...

Did you expose a couple of stops extra when you took the later pics FF? There was one shot at the start of my roll that was taken when I loaded the film (my habit was to take a shot after the first 'wind on' after the camera back was closed), and this is of the room in our old house (we moved...

Still buggering about with this. I reckon the attached is the best it's ever going to get with the scanner & software I have available. I did the orange colour cast correction & inversion in the editor after scanning as a positive and using the actual colour cast from an unexposed area of the...
