The Official Fuji X Pro 1 Thread

As I understand it, Fuji don't make a TTL cord but Canon ones work. I have a cheap eBay job that I keep meaning to test out. I see that the X-T1 has a couple of extra pins on the hotshoe to power the flash though , not sure it that will cause any issues or not...

60mm is *Very* slow to focus on the X-E1. Anyone know if it improves any on the X-E2 (and by extension the X-T1)? It's not a true macro lens either, which is a shame.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I may have accidentally pre-ordered one, to sit on the shelf alongside my X-E1... :-) I'm echoing the sadness at lack of a 1/8000s shutter (and especially the 1/180s sync speed) though.

    Fuji X-E1/X-E2/X-E2S/X-E3 Owners Thread

I just sold mine. Keeping the glass though, at least for now - though I can't help wondering how much Fuji kit I could get if I sold it all

    THE PP GAME!

Can I play? I don't know if I'm doing this right... :) It's just a very quick B&W conversion and crop in LR, nothing more. Trying to get something different out of the shot. More than happy for comments.

    Nikon 1 Series (V1/ V2/ J1 etc) owners thread....

Very nice Dave... I do love my V1. Tempted by a V2, but also want to hang on and see what the V3 might bring. I'm thinking the AW1 might have delayed the V3 though.

Swap my Nikon DX + good glass, for FX + poorer glass?

As far as cheap full-frame lenses go, I always liked the Tamron 24-135 on the D700. It should be available s/h for £150 or less. A bit of a little-known sleeper lens that one if you're on a tight budget IMHO. Not sure how well it would stand up to D600 levels of resolution though...

    Thom Hogan's Game.

Mostly an easy one. I'd replace my H2D with an H3/4/5D, as the OLED on my H2D is pretty much screwed. DLSR-wise, I'd swap the D700 for a D800 and be done with it. It only gets a bit more complicated when it comes to CSCs, which for me have almost completely replaced DSLRs. Currently run...
