    Prague B&W

No HDR trickery involved on 3 although no you mention it may have a play. Am only just getting started so composition is a real challenge for me, lead in lines, foreground interest all becomes a little overwhelming when you are used to point and shoot. Thanks for the positive feedback...

    Prague B&W

Had a nice but chilly weekend in Prague. Very cold taking pics and light not so good due to cloud cover. Took some shots and thought I would have a go on mono conversions. Are they any good? Large here http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2609/4176380052_07b7790db2_b.jpg Large here...

    Travelling Spyder 3

Welly that would be a shame if you had to do that. As a complete newbie on here I asked for and got the Spyder and sent it on 2 days after I recieved it. To discount people because of a low post count sometimes means nothing. However, I guess not everyone is the same and thankful for peoples...

    First Night Shots for C&C

Cheers, I like the colours in both too. Yeah the objects in the first shot were unavoidable really, having consumed a reasonable amount of booze as it was our last night there the 450d was precariously placed atop a rail near the bar! Didnt take the tripod, as a n00b didnt fancy looking a geek...

    Another Newbie saying "Hello"

Well took the plunge and bought myself a shiny new Canon 450d w/kit lens, nifty fifty, 2nd user 75-300 Mk3 and a rather sturdy Redsnapper tripod. Step up from the IXUS SD850is, I am off to Costa Rica next year and wanted a DSLR to accompany the trip. Am looking forward to learning from some...
