Had a nice but chilly weekend in Prague. Very cold taking pics and light not so good due to cloud cover.

Took some shots and thought I would have a go on mono conversions.

Are they any good?

Like 2 & 3.
No1 is a tad sombre in the lighting conditions you mention.
 
Number 2 is great! Very crisp shot with a nice balance and composition of highlights and shadows.
Number 1 seems to be lacking something in the composition or exposure though.
Number 3 is HDR I assume? Not too keen on the halo effect around the buildings but otherwise a good shot!
I'll be taking a look at the others on Flickr when I get chance!
 
No HDR trickery involved on 3 although no you mention it may have a play.

Am only just getting started so composition is a real challenge for me, lead in lines, foreground interest all becomes a little overwhelming when you are used to point and shoot.

Thanks for the positive feedback though...
