OK, I know the 5D4 has been around for a good while now but I'm just starting to investigate the pros and cons of moving from my pair of 5D3s.
Hoping that some ood you have been using them for a long time and the honeymoon period is over so you can give some tearful world thoughts and opinions...
Evening all, just thinking about incorporating flares/smoke bombs into some of my portrait/wedding shoots and wanted any advice on the best places to buy from in the UK. Already looked at Enola Gaye as I've come across those in paintball, but is there anything else? Also, can't work out if they...
Thanks to you both. I have to agree Bob, it's my usual preference too, we had a few people around so getting everything in place didn't always work out.
Evening all, I really can't believe how long it's been since I've shared anything (I'm not much better with my Facebook page to be honest.
Here a few from a recent pre-wedding shoot on the beach.

Hi everyone,
I've just taken my Sigma 50mm f1.4 out of its case after probably 2 years without using and there is some fungus on the inside of the very front element. I've been able to take out the front group of two lenses but can't work out how to separate them to get to the inside of the...
A pretty harsh sun day but was certainly better than the rain we had had a couple of days before.
As usual, I would love to hear your comments and thoughts to help me continue to improve so please do let me know if there is something different I should be doing/trying.

I had a real blast at the weekend's wedding, photographing Darren and Ann-Marie.
Here are 6 photos of the day. As ever, I would love to hear your thoughts on things to consider to get better and new ideas to try out.
Thanks :)

Hi Sid, really appreciate you taking the time to give a detailed reply and I will certainly take those things on board (he says trying to remember everything). Would love to her from anyone else who can add to this.
Thanks :)
The main photos of Gayle and Phil are quite 'chilled' as they wanted that side of their characters to comes out, however, when it came to the photo booth in the evening, things were a lot different!

OK, so it's been a while since I've popped a wedding up, I thought I should make an effort and share some work. Not least because I want to be challenged and improve as I've been feeling very 'samey' for a while.
Please feel free to give me constructive CC.

Thanks, that is kind of where I was when looking at this option, slow AF could be a pain for sure! Have you anything to compare the AF to from the Canon lineup?
What were you shooting with, 24-70 f2.8 L?
I usually stick to ISO 3200 as I don't really need any NR, but my limit is 5000 really...
Wow, it's ages since I've posted on TP, hope everyone is doing well!!
Just after thoughts really from other wedding togs. I've been using the Canon 24-105 as my main lens ever since I started shooting weddings as it what was used by the tog I assisted.
The lens is fine, however, I'm looking...
Man has it been a long time since I've posted anything up. I though I would share a recent shoot I did for my wife as we are getting close to being parents, I'm soon going to be taking lots off baby photos I feel.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I could look for methods/ideas/techniques...
