    Optech stockists Belfast?

With our lovely summer kicking off....that equals rain. I'm looking some ideas to protect the 40d/70-200mm if ever I'm out and about. I've read about the old plastic bag/bin bag trick but I read up on these Optech ones. They seem almost disposable, quite cheap, but if you look after them you...

    Croft (Holywood) Hillclimb 2013

Evening people, just a smallish set from an event I was at this afternoon. They've had some light fettling in Elements 10, nothing more than some levels, sharpening and a crop or two. I've got rid of over 2/3's of the pictures, which I understand is normal, you don't go out to get 300+ truely...

Building a new PC. Tips to help POST processing?

Bit of a thread res. Might as well follow up with what I done. I'll get pictures & spec list once I'm home. Just managed to get Elements 10 so I'm finally getting there!

    London Bridges

Nice exposure. I'd have cropped the bottom 1/3 & right hand side, just as the sand to the left doesn't really do it for me. I'd have The Shard as a point in the shot, off to the right of the shot for the rule of thirds. I like it though!

    Shornemead Fort

The essence is there. You mention about the two exposures being either too light or too dark, that's the point with an HDR photo. You're taking the dark points and highlights from one scene, along with the standard exposure and merging all 3 (3 exposures is the minimum for an HDR.) If you...

    Autumn in Yeovil

I don't mind this shot, the autumnal tone is captured well. Pathway draws the eye in, nice, I like :)

Only on my phone this morning but that looks a much better shot.

    sky on fire

Without the foreground clutter it would be a good shot, has potential that's for sure.

    Malton Forest Rally 2012

Nice shots Stewart. Nice and central well captured. I would say that you should go get other viewpoints and test yourself to improve your panning. Would say that the 1st shot is my favourite, is it a crop?

    Tree Line

    Superb exposure. Lovely panorama.

    Hidden in the trees.....

I'm going to agree. Going by the front quarter panels I can see. Definitely some Minor of some sort.
