    mirrorless cameras for weddings

I've been using Fuji's for weddings for a couple of years now, sometimes just a question of adjusting your shooting style and expectations of what the cameras can do. As long as you don't expect it to act like a Nikon D4 then all is good. There are a few using the OM's for weddings with superb...

    Canon to Fuji advice please

I sold the last of my Canon kit over a year ago when I moved to Fuji and have never regretted it. I don't use the 55-200 much for weddings (sometimes if I'm stuck at the back of the church or for some candids ) however I've had better results with it than the my old Canon f4 70 - 200 L. The 35...

Current DSLR kit or Fuji any advice?

Can't comment on the E-X1 but since I bought an X100, then the X-Pro 1 I haven't touched my Canon gear aside from the speedlites. Mike

Can someone recommend a decent soft box for on location portraits?

I've been using these. Nice and portable, easy to set up and use. http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-lastolite-ezybox-ii-square-medium-60cm/p1533441 Can't really fault them yet. Mike

    FUJIFILM S2950

Hi Alex You may need to provide some more information on what it is you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it. The info from Fuji says you camera has a macro and super macro setting so close focus should not be a problem. Do you mean that you don't want the background blurred...

    Wedding problem again

All the advice has been written on these forums before but yep, faster glass, back up cameras etc all hold true. Just remember if you agree to do this you'll no longer feel like a guest, you will be working (and it will feel like it) If, as you say you are really not comfortable doing this...

    Paying over the odds

Because there will always be stupid people? I've no idea really but you only need to look at a well known auction site (other sites are available) to see the phenomena on a regular basis.

    Canon EOS 7D Owners Thread

Yes, that's right The will revert back to the original settings if you change modes or turn off the camera. Not stuck with them in the sense of being unable to alter them on the fly, you can still change aperture, speed iso etc but it makes it easier to revert to your original settings...
