Hi Jeff, nice set of shots. number one really catches my eye but I would crop out the sky as I think it strengthens the composition. I have tried shots like this but mine don't seem to come out well at all.

the carriage is in a really bad way it may be leaning but it may not either. I would have loved to get a bit closer but had the family with me and didn't fancy dragging them up the lines as the train only stopped here for a few mins. its a place to go back to as the railway was originally from...

Thanks for the comment. Will give the B&W a go. I also wondered about cropping that pic almost square removing most of the top.
