This was a personal project purely for fun. For the most part all shot with a 50mm prime lens.
More photos and "Behind the Scenes" photos can be found on my flickr.
I've created this flickr account strictly for PG content as opposed to my main Flickr account.
Critiques are welcome. Shooting...
I'm definitely a huge Star Wars geek. Too bad the girl didn't know what Star Wars was.
Pookeyhead, I agree. I've tried a few things to make those embers looking better, but I kind of struggled with it.
I had a little bit of fun before a glamour photoshoot and I went full Star Wars on this poor girl lol.
Cape made by my wife. 9$ lightsaber from wal-mart.
(The photo is rather dark, best viewed on flickr's dark background.

The ring light is a circular plywood cut out with 12 lightbulbs. The diameter from bulb to bulb is roughly 25 inches.
Here's a pic of the ringlight: http://robertchoquette.com/temp/ringlight.jpg
Hi Iandwomble, sorry for the extremely late response. I didn't see your post until today. The answer is yes, I was shooting tethered direct into Lightroom.
Here are a few shots from a recent shoot I had with Meghane. These were all taken in my living room/home studio.
You can see the setup preview in a video posted in a previous thread about Allison.
Last shot of the 3 was my first attempt using a homemade ring light I built a couple weekends ago...
