Thanks for your comments. I didn't really have an idea for it, I just see the shot and took it, didn't have room to back up anymore to get the hands in.

Update: After a good go with the new screen the focus was off, it would appear the screen does not need shimming after all, although the screens are the thicknesses I mentioned above, the old FM screen is perfectly flat but the B3 is slightly raised on the polished side, so just took the shims...

Thanks for the replies. I managed to sort it, I got a B3 screen, borrowed a digital vernier and it comes out at 1.6mm, the old screen in my FM is 2.1mm, I successfully managed to modify the B3 screen and shim it to the same thickness to install in my FM. What a world of difference! The B3 is...

Can anyone who has either of these Focus Screens tell me the thickness please, I'm after possibly modifying one if the thickness is ok.

Thanks for all the advice. I got the corsair in the link above and I'm back up and running, seems to run better now unless that's just me, don't know if a psu that's gradually on its way out can cause problems? I was having problems with it booting up recently before it went, but seems fine now.
