Google Map - Poppies, Lavender, Sunflower Fields & Bluebells

I went yesterday, and it was well behind last year. At least another week, though more likely 2 before a full flush of colour. They said that a late frost had delayed the flowers.

    More from Brands Hatch

...I know. Magazine courses. What can I say. But it's a good way to try new things. A bit of fun whilst learning a new technique, and this months was panning.

    More from Brands Hatch

Thanks. Yes. Most of the time I shot coming out of the bend..so my back to the bridge. though later on I was standing between the bridge and the first right hand bend of Druids. Prefer it there than shooting through the fence.

    Shooting macro on a 550d

...I have the 550d with 100mm macro and it is a good combination. I personally wouldn't go for the 60mm as even with 100mm I often feel the need to get closer.

    Abstract Bluebells

Thanks. Abstract/Impressionist I guess they fit in both camps. All shots were correctly focussed and exposed... as far as you can tell. Then I panned down. tried to capture the feeling of the place. The blue of the bells and the bright greens and dark woods of the trees. All the other...

    Abstract Bluebells

Thanks Chris. It is all a bit of an experiment. Though I was excited by the results and felt inspired to try some different things. John...don't be sorry. I asked for your opinion. So thank you

    Abstract Bluebells

Well, I was uninspired by my bluebell shots so I thought I'd try something else. Tried different times and panning. What do you think... 1. [/IMG] 2 [/IMG] 3 [/IMG]

Looks like you and I were on the same page with the bluebells. Really like your zoomed effect.

DSLR Boot Camp Thread: discussion and posting

Any critique is good. Doesn't have to be on your on efforts to learn something. Obviously if they used your own its nice, but not necessary. The way I see it, this course gives you a new challenge. Something to put your mind to, and to take the time to think more logically about your...
