    Teen Portrait

It doesn't show so much when reduced but your probably right. In no rush for passport so can be resolved.

    Teen Portrait

Took this the other day of my youngest son. It was a simply shot for passport photo taken at about 6.00pm with the sun behind me. Canon 60D with kit lens. Really pleased with the result.

    Smoke Photography (first go)

Hi I like them and am intrigued to the technique. Very sharp. Only thing I would like is to either see source of the smoke or complete black frame so as smoke looks like it's floating.

    Spotted a Marshal ?....

I think the Marshals are a great bunch, follow a few on twitter, and like to get a few images of them as generally good characters. #1. Donnington Park - Is it a bird.... #2. Brands Hatch - Spoke to the guy, the chair cost £3000 #3. Brands Hatch #4. Brands Hatch #5. Brands...

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

After taking on board some comments and reading this thread Tamron-17_50 I think I'm going to start with replacing the kit lens for the Tamron and then in a few months go for the body upgrade.

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

Aaron could you post a link to the exact lens you mention as there seem to be a few. I should have replaced my kit lens already so maybe that's the first step.

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

Video would just be an added bonus really. The body is the easier choice, whereas there are quite a few lenses. With a budget of £650 what lens/s would I be able to get that would be better than the two zooms that I currently have?.

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

I really grateful for advice so far. Some of you say that body has its purpose and extra features make it worthwhile and others point out that the body will loose value unlike good quality lenses. So below I will list out my current lenses to see if priority can be given a bit easier. Canon EFS...

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

Yes I did have a go when I was in Currys recently and have done a good bit of review checking on the net. Dave_83 can you elaborate on how you feel it was a good choice upgrading. Has it improved the output of your current lenses?.

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

Cheers guys, I was hoping you would all guide me to the best option. Indeed a tough choice. :-)

    New DSLR or Lens+kit

I try to take a range of shots. When I see the quality of some of the images other people have produced I would like to try and improve and hence my conundrum to body/lens. Its just a mine field of choice and expensive mistake to make.
