Has anyone used a sigma f1.8 for ringside photography? I'm thinking of getting one for pro wrestling and boxing - every review of it says it's a must own lens, but none mention sport! Anyone got any info? Thanks!

Thanks for the comments :) Yeah I needed to use the 50mm 1.8, it's the widest lens I have and the weather was pretty awful lol - enjoyed taking the shots though, I'm gagging to upgrade to a 7d for sports now, my 2fps 1100D doesn't quite cut it!
