November Newsletter

Hi, and welcome to the November issue of our newsletter (It's only a short one, don't worry!).

As you probably know, we don't send much of these out. We like to think of our member's email addresses as something sacred and protected that you have trusted us with, so we only send you a newsletter when we have something we think you'll be interested in!
However, we understand that some people have moved on, some of you may no longer take photos or have an interest in photography. We're cool with that. So if you'd no longer prefer to receive these newsletters, that's OK.....just follow the instructions at the bottom, and we'll take care of the rest for you...and we won't mither you again! :)

Onto the newsletter!

Photographer of the Year 2016
Firstly, the response from the last newsletter regarding our esteemed Photographer of the Year competition, was fantastic! We had a massive influx of many great entries, so thank you very much! Submissions are now closed and the judging has begun. To see the entries, click here

Christmas Facebook Banner Competition
Even though it's only November....Christmas imagery and music has invaded us everywhere. Well we don't believe in putting the tree up just yet, but we do need a bit of help getting the decorations ready.
We're currently running a competition to design the banner on our Facebook page, which will be proudly displayed throughout December! Click here for the forum discussion thread, or go straight to our Facebook page here.

Christmas up the TP Logo for 2016
Our yearly challenge is back again! We've been running this for a few years and it gets better every year.
Just grab a copy of the TP logo, add some of your own Christmas sparkle and we'll add it to the header on the forum throughout December! Everyone gets to join in, all banners get added so show us what you're made of! Link to the discussion thread and how to grab a copy of the logo is here

Coming in 2017
We will yet again be promoting our yearly 'Photo a week' challenge, commonly known as a '52'. Everyone is welcome to join in, whether you are a 52 virgin or one of the regulars in our weekly photo subforum.
Click here for details on how to join in. Expect some great fun, a few laughs, and a dollop of camaraderie along the way. More importantly, a chance to share your great photography with the world!

Thank you everyone for making Talk Photography, the fantastic and vibrant community that it is today. Long may it continue!

The TP Team.
