Best option for Nikon Trigger

I'm looking for some triggers for my D5100.

I have a set of Phottix Stratos TTL which are great for the purpose I purchased them for. Now I want a multi flash system.

Ideally I'd like TTL and be able to control the flashes from the camera ('cos I'm lazy).

The most suitable I think is the Pixel King Pro.

my Chinese English isn't good enough to know really what the Yongnou system is really capable of - I think its just a simple trigger.

The other option is Phottix Odin but that has no on camera flash option.

Any advice would be much appreciated (but Pocket Wizards are too much cash)

YN 622 will control remote flash in iTTL or manual - it's a no brainer device. Even does HSS - but I don't think your 5K does that, and can zoom the flash remotely too

Best combo is a 622tx (it has a nice clear screen and is child's play to remotely control your flash) and a 622n transceiver.

I would avoid Pixel Kings, I found them inconsistent and they had a bad habit of wielding themselves to my camera

pocket Wizard are laying off staff.
I put my £ in the YN as the PW offer no added value for the extra £ unless you have their historical triggers - and there are many reports of wireless range issues with them too.
A strong case for the YN

The YN system does look good and unbelievably cheap (£90 for a TX & 3 transceivers).

I'd love the Pocket wizards, but as with most established brands, the price doesn't reflect their quality/ technology (£456 for 1 x MiniTT1, 2 x Flex TT5 and 1 x AC3). That a BIG price tag for a badge.

Has the TN system had the master flash issue fixed i.e. where a SBxxx is attached to a transceiver on the camera and slaves are turned off, the master fails to fire?
Is there a list of compatible flashes for the YN system?
Does anyone have a link to a good video of how to use the YN system?
As a side note, which if any YN flashes have the trigger built in and are they ttl (not that ttl is important in a multi flash setup)

It would be nice to hear from someone who has the Pixel King Pro.

I thick you're probably right, but the PWs have provided themselves reliable time and again when others simply haven't. The range issue only occurs on the TTL triggers and is worse on Canon. Both fire plenty far enough for most people though

One of the few things Hugh and I disagree about, my PW flex's suffered from a complete breakdown due to interference from DJ gear at wedding receptions, on the back of that I can't recommend them, unless you want to get geeky with 2nd curtain sync timing or hyper sync timing, for which they're the best tools.

All I found was the SBs & YN-565-EX & YN-568-EX. I also found that the YN-560-III isn't compatible.
