Its a stunning shot but IMHO it does not work as a stack, because the rear leg is oof and also the froint leg is oof and as i'm sure you know the idea of a stack is to get everthing sharp front to back.

Great capture, the colours and the sharpness are bang on. The stacking has worked very well especially as was taken hand held. If you was to get the front and rear legs in focus you would have had to take approx 15 to 20 shots due to the narrow DOF

Great shot i think, what puzzles me is how you can stack handheld
I thought stacking involved perfectly still equipment with different shots focussing at different points
Can you point me to some info as stacking really interests me but after this i really don't understand it
