I was planning a weekend away there actually for the end of the month... but apparently there isn't much atmosphere  :coat:

But, what if they are "virtual" Hassleblads.....As some claim the moon landings were an invention.

The reason they use Nikon up there is becsuse they don't want to leave a good lens behind ;)

I wonder if any aliens told them they weren't allowed to take pictures there with 'big cameras'

who left a D2X on the moon - no one been there for years lol

"I hollered "DON'T LOOK, ETHEL" But it's too late, she'd already been MOONED"

Ray Stevens - The Streak

oops, wrong sort of moon.

If the moon landing was true can anyone photograph the landing site so we can see the flag left along with all the other junk.
In a word, no.

You're suggesting that somebody should photograph an object that's about 4m across (the lunar lander) from a distance of 400,000km. That's equivalent to photographing a postage stamp in Rome from a vantage point in Edinburgh.

Even hubble can't do it sadly. Best indicator of authenticity, if anyone needs one, is the Russians and there constant tracking of the event as it happened.

Yeah..... I think we could do it... all we need are some memory chips with the plastic cut off a couple of tele converters and one of these top quality hand made lenses.....lens:):)
