Critique 1st attempt at BIF with new lens

Thanks for taking the time to look -

I purchased a new 500mm PF lens to hopefully allow me (damaged shoulder) to finally get some BIF with HH - 500mm f6.3 1/1250 iso 560. Unfortunately weather has not been good lately so light and subject matter somewhat limited. Gave it my best shot .....

Looking like a good start as a 1st BiF go

PS hopefully the shoulder damage gets better and you have more opportunities to practice BiF photography.

Nothing wrong with that for a first attempt with a new lens

I hired that particular lens a few weeks back (with a view to purchasing) and was mightily impressed with it. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with it.
