I have just been playing with high-key(ish) setups at home, I did a few test shots over the weekend please let me know your thoughts and if you think the lighting is correct (seems a little grey to me)...

Really lovely picture. I agree though on the grey issue; would've worked better with a bright white background (and floor).

the lighting looks great on the little lad but maybe a bit much on tigger, he has a bit of a sheen on him in places
 
Thanks for your comments, I am finding it quite hard to light the background correctly I think it’s more down to the stupid slave flash (Nissin I622). I using the 430exii for the front fill which is brilliant just the other slave unit is a royal pain. Should I use a bare flash on the background or through an umbrella?

his sightline however is demanding some space...the question in photo panels is usually
wish we knew what he was looking at
great work and technique and the lighting seems to suit the upbeat style
you have a damn good camera and lens
