Beginner 1st time in flight caught on camera

Today I went to Slimbridge and although I got a few good shots I was very very pleased to get 2 shots of geese in flight.
Sky could be better etc etc but, this is the 1st time ever I have caught birds in flight without them looking like blobs!

The 2nd shot was later in the day, before the skies clouded over.

So yes, I am pleased with myself.

Greylags always have such a hard done by expression - it makes them rather lovable. Ah, so you had the weather we were supposed to get here today! Slimbridge is great for practicing though for various reasons I haven't managed to get up there for ages.
