Hey guys

I'm looking to run 2 monitors from one hdmi source. I bought something that I thought would do the job but when I connect the second monitor the first one goes all weird and starts flashing.

Anyone have any suggestions on which splitter to buy?

Whats the resolution of the monitors? With both added together are you going over the capabilities of your graphics card?

what device is it and what gpu do you have. are you trying to duplicate the source to 2 screens or extend the desktop.

hdmi gets a bit funny with splitting signals when hdcp is involved.

Would it be easier to buy a vga splitter? Would that work better?

Why not connect one monitor via HDMI and the other via VGA? set windows graphics to 'duplicate' to screens 1 and 2. Can't see a reason why that would not work.

It does state dual display support in the link above:
'With discrete graphics, it supports full HD 1080P playback and dual display output. The EB1033 is the ideal choice to keep your connected to the world.'
