Well I've finally clocked up 3000 posts! After having a poor photographic year in 2013 (apart from the TP trip to Skokholm) I've decided to have a good go this year. I've learned a lot on this forum and the macro section has always been a particular favourite. When I first dropped in I had never shot macro but with the advice and encouragement of people here it soon became a genre I shot more and more of. Big thanks to my mate Alby for the comments and advice and to the staff for keeping TP running smoothly.

Rhod well done on reaching 3,000 posts - I seem to be racking up the numbers faster than ever as well.

But onto the shots - they are absolutely wonderful & number two so interesting with the 'full face on', white & blue bottom & top to frame the critter (y)
 
Top shots Rhod, great time we had at Skokholm watching those young peregrines flying. ;)

cant decide which one I like the best but great light and colours in both
By the way I love Skokholm too I went three times last year:)

Brilliant work and congrats on all the posts.

Both images are stunning, but the bee pips it for me! What gorgeous colours!
