Is it possible to setup the Canon 5D3 so that it shows the proposed image on the LCD screen full size with the histogram smaller and the camera setup imposed. At the moment my proposed image is very small with all settings showing on a black background all around the LCD.

Press the info button a few times and you’ll cycle through the different views

No, but I agree there are times when that would a better view.

I surmise the OP knows he can cycle through the "views" as he describes one of them but was hoping for a setting to get what he desires.
