I am doing a whole series of images of macro head shots of venomous snakes.

This is a female Sri Lankan Pit Viper

Yes she was lining me up for a bite

very nice shot - one very minor quibble whats the green smudge on the left edge below the snake ? - that might want cloning out.

What lens you use for this? Little too close for me and I'm a macro guy...

The green smudge is the snakes neck as it was looking at in at 90 degree to its body. I can understand where you guys are coming from but havent got the skill to clone it out. As for lens this was with the 105mm macro and almost as its closest focus point.
