A very hairy fly, it's got more hair than me! This fella was more than welcome to pose for me, it has surprised me how close you can get to some flies.C&C most welcome.

That is a great shot and looks like quite a nasty looking character. I'm terrified of bugs that look like this so would probably never get close enough to get such a shot

Not hand held Peter, none of my images are handheld, Ive got very twitchy hands!
Tripod can be a pain but it works well for me I think! And Im sorry haven't got a clue what this fella is.
