A couple from Skye

We visited friends who have a lovely little place of Staffin Bay last week and it gave me the chance to pop out for a couple of shots. Any comments welcomed.

A very strong set here Chris. The second I like especially, it's different and refreshing, not something you can often say about Skye!

2. Bit dark and heavy, hardly your fault though. Nice composition.

They are such good lens that 24-70. So sharp. I love mine.

Thanks - well it was half way along the coast from Elgol so wasn't sure official location - wanted to avoid it being another "Elgol shot" lol

I only asked as I walked over the hill to Camasurnay recently and couldn't help think that the Cuillin view is a bit more hidden.

I thought #2 was Elgol or thereabouts? Maybe not.
All strong images but I think #2 is the one I favour. Good f/g interest and a moody sky.

It's near Elgol, about a mile along the coast from Elgol beach.

Beautiful shots! Lovely light in number one but definitely number two for me, I like the contrast of the moody blues and the green seaweed.
