Had a bash at some shots in the turbine hall today. It tricky as everyone is on the move (hence the first pic) and the light was crap

I managed a few long exposure shots with a tripod before being asked to put it away as apparently I 'looked too professional'. :wacky:

ps, yes, I know i've blown the highlights in the second :razz:
 
Blown highlights are inconsequential in shots like these. The second image is very good. I like the composition, the contrasty look, and the enigmatic feel - a bit 1960s Italian cinema! IMO cropping a bit off the top and bottom would strengthen the image even more.
