Backs are sometimes good but front shots a lot lot better. Have you tried cropping in a bit closer as they seem a tad too far away. In fact I would be tempted to try and lose the lampposts to the right but hey I'm sure no expert

I value your opinion though, you know that! I will see what i can do. This was already cropped as it was at 70mm i think and didn't want to zoom and make it obvious... This was shot from the waist. It was actually the tog leaning on the wall that caught my eye but waited for the couple to take centre stage before pressing the shutter. Not even sure what it focused on.

Ha, he was walking around the opposite way to us so we passed each other a few times. He had his missus walking with him holding his monopod. (Not a euphemism btw)
