Hello,
I recently bought a Nikon 105mm f2.8 lens with the intention of taking more macro shots but haven't had many opportunities to use it much yet.
These are nowhere near the standards of the other images in this forum, but I quite like them!
(Oh, and you can probably guess from the title - I'm no expert on flies...)

[1] This chap very obligingly stayed put on the patio windows, with a nice white curtain for a backdrop... It was more or less the first shot I took with the lens. Pretty aggressive crop.
[2] A green fly (not a greenfly - even I know that!!)
