#3 for me. I think because the rocks seem to lead the eye out to that outcrop.

Yes please I would like to know what's used? I love number 4....
 
Thanks for the reactions.
I used the Lee Filter System for these shots, mainly a combination of a 3 stops ND filter (to block the light to get a longer exposure) and a 3 stops gradual ND filter (this one only darkens the sky).
Also a low ISO (keeps the noise down and longens the exposure) and an aperture of f8 or f11.
