A Hint of Daylight

We went down to the coast which is Bortle 3, although the small carpark did have a streetlight or two. Anyways, the same photo, the darker one is just processed differently, the first one has a small amount of processing but it's more like out of the camera. It is amazing what this little camera can capture. I started doing a star trails photo, but stopped after 10 minutes as it was too cold for me! Both images were caught very close to each other in RAW.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the light vs dark photos.

I much prefer the lighter one which is obviously moonlight but still shows interesting details, however, as with all photographs, it's very much a matter of personal choice.
