Taken on the street = street photography. Anyone who says anything else is wrong.

I like the image, just goes to show looking down can sometimes be as interesting as looking up.

Thanks Nick and looking around up and down helps a lot.

I was on a coach tour and I was asked on a quite a few occasions what I was taking pictures of. By the end of two weeks people were apparently keeping an eye on me going where I had been to grab a shot they thought they had missed.

I dont agree! Street photography is as I understand it pictures of people taken on the street! Not manhole covers! Which would be architecture or urban!
