This year, I'm making an effort to get out shooting even more to improve myself as a photographer.
I've decided to try and teach myself wildlife photography and I'm also trying to improve my two biggest joys which are gigs and pets.
I've even done a couple of jobs for local businesses which I'd never have thought about doing before. I genuinely believe that trying things outside of my comfort zone is helping me overall to learn.
It's been a hell of a learning curve since picking up a camera properly for the first time in May 2021 but what a great hobby this is.
I was worried I was a bit scatter gun in trying to learn multiple genres but it's all just photography when you simplify it. I enjoy the learning and the process so much I don't think I'll ever settle into a single genre.
