A Wasps plight.

This wasp managed to get itself tangled up in a spider web near the potentilla. A nearby lynx spider didn't seem to keen so I think eventually, it managed to free itself and fly away. It certainly wasn't there when I got back after leaving it for an hour or so.

The wasp I think did get away. There's no evidence of it being wrapped up anywhere and the lynx spider that was nearby wasn't interested.

Ok my wasp was a little more eaten than that.. infact just a shell but does show a spider will take on a wasp if its stuck enough.

great captures and #3 really shows the struggle the little blight was going through.
