Aberystwyth coastal sunset

Taken tonight with the Lee 10-stopper on a Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55 zoom.

I accidentally left the OIS on, but it doesn't seem to have impact too badly on the sharpness. In fact-given the rough winds, it may even have helped!

FUJIFILM X-E1, f/16 @ 18 mm, 30s, ISO 200, No Flash

Like the smooth water and the sky tones but it could do with some light on the rocks

I like the photo. I would have liked to have seen the sun less in the centre and a bit more to the right as that side of the image lets it down slightly.

Nice image but I do feel that it would have been improved by the foreground rocks showing a little detail.

I agree with all the comments - I'll look into cropping it a different way, but there was a lot of featureless foreground in the uncrowded version.

A bit more detail from those rocks would help if possible which I know from shooting this type of thing it may not be available.

As others have said, a little more light on the rocks would look good - perhaps try a white brush in Photoshop in soft mode and a mid range opacity or LR adjustment brush?
