Air to Air - 5 more added

Hi all,

Some more recent air to air shots. The light was challenging at times so any post processing C+C would be appreciated. Additionally, I'd be grateful if anyone could point me at a good tutorial for use of the PS Unsharp Mask.

Thanks in advance and enjoy the photos:

1. 3 of Stampede 5 ship. Its tricky to get decent shots in close formation as the jets always look better when you have some look down or look up on them. To achieve this you have to move out of formation which is not great with 83,000 people watching. This was taken while we were 20 miles away!

2. This will, in all probability, be the last air to air shots I get of the F3.

4. Breaking back into the circuit. We are in position. See how uninspiring the view of the far aircraft is from this position?

Not really keen on the formation shots, but as you say, you were a bit limited!!

Really like #3, it could just do with a bit of contrast

Very nice cheesy... nice to see some altitude with the shots LOL wouldn't want to be upsetting the local MP

loving the 2nd F3 shot in the first bunch you posted, and the middle 3 shots in set 2

only thing wrong with all of these is that I am not sat in the opposite aircraft shooting back at you LOL

Love the second shot of the second set, but all are good.

Would love to see shots from this back seater, assuming he had a camera. I took this last Sunday at Farnborough as the arrows came in to land after doing a full display.
