This is my brother. I borrowed some lights off a friend recently and needed a model to shoot once I'd finished messing about.

I've got a lot to learn about lighting but I am reasonably happy with this. I know there's a big shadow behind him which won't be to everyone's tastes but it was deliberate and I do quite like it.

This has been processed in Photoshop but not in my usual, creative way. All the decisions I made were based around getting the image to look 'true.' So it's a by-the-book processing job, I guess.

An unusual lighting set up indeed Jamie ... combined with an unusual choice of 'studio' ... makes for a rather interesting result ... ... not quite made my mind up yet ... :shrug:

I don't really go for traditional portraits much. Can't stand the sort of stuff Venture (and the like) produce, for example.
