Hi,
lovely bird and lots of detail. Personally I would give it a bit of a boost, maybe brighter (especially mid tones and highlights), a tad more saturation and contrast and a bit warmer with the whites. With that pose it feels a little depressing! Having said that, I'm at work and my work monitor is slightly dark anyway. And, of course, it may have been the look you were going for!
I think the bird stands out well from the background but with a couple of tweaks, it would have more impact.

I agree with Gary - but it is an interesting pose you have caught.
Maybe bring out the eyes a little more to help it.
