Thanks to Chris Pons for the loan of his 60mm M/F Tamron. Had a go this evening for the first time and found out how difficult it is with a bit of a breeze. I have an area by some pools that I have not mowed, and there are a lots of wildflowers, getting lots of attention.
Anyway here are two, feel free to coment,

thanks Bill

I think I am going to look for a 105 Micro for my D700

Pretty good for a first time Bill, good stuff, do you mean a Sigma 105 lens if so you'll love it when you get one, macro is addictive so be warned

Hi guys and thanks for your comments. I have to admit I found it trickier than I thought, but am up for the challenge. I also got the lens wrong, it is a 90 mm, sorry.

I may already be addicted!

That second damselfly looks like a right kiss***
I don't think they liked me intruding.

Look good,Bill ,like the first one a lot.
Cheers Chris, I love raiding your lens bag. You had better lock up that new 70 - 200.

Go for the sigma 150 instead? Might be better on the d700 (you wont need to get as close).
Thanks, I will have a look into that, It may be a better option.

Bill
