Hi guys Me and the wife managed to get tickets for court two on the second Monday in the ballot:), we then Queued for 2.5 hours for Centre court as the rain stopped play on c 2 and got in:)

Its the first time shooting a tennis match but would like some feed back as we are going to the Atp Finals a the O2.

Hi Paul,

You were on the court in front of ours making all that noise ;) (heard Serena got mobbed, even we could hear it on court 12)

Anyway, I really like Djokovicserving and Serenaserve. (y)
Great first attempt!

The extra space around the Djokovic and high ball toss frozen and being fairly sharp really captures the moment.

For the action shots like the whipping forehands, I personally would like to capture the player sharply and maybe a little bit of blur of the ball/raquet head.

What kit and settings were you using? How about white balance?

as i scrolled down I noticed Djokovicserving and cut off the top box - so just the ball was in - see what you think
 
I think the vignetting lets it down a little, but overall I like most of those shots. I'm not into tennis but have been an avid watcher of this years tournament
