Anybody been to Northwich Thundersprint

I only live 30 miles away, I have a Bandit 600 and a camera but sadly i've never been.

It's free entrance and by all accounts a top day out so I may give it a go this year

I went last year before i got my camera and there were huge fences. Apart from that the action is great seen as its free. Also the paddock is open to the public and your more than likely to bump into the riding stars! I completly recomend it!!

I also went last year, and as Matt says the fences around the sprint course are very high, But if you do have a long lens you can get into one of the grandstands for shots (lots of folk had 100-400 L last year)

The parade at the end of the day is OK for shots as they go round a couple of times and we stood by the traffic lights near a chippy last year where you get them passing in both direction on each lap.

yeh i went a few years back, it was good but i agree about the fences, really tricky to get good shots because of it. nice sounds and bikes though,

Yup, gimme a wave, I will be inside the fences though behind a camera but not a DSLR I will have it with me though - I will be the one on the walkie talkie running around like an idiot !

Don't forget to look upwards aswell for the Spitfire flyby
