Arty autumn leaf shots

I think they are OK, prefer the second, I think the twig/stick in the first looks odd. The composition in the second is lovely and depth of field just right IMHO. Maybe darken down the surround background to emphasize the leaf more.

Know what you mean about the first shot. It was so windy, the only way I could keep the leaf on the bench was to put something on top. I tried to make it look like the twig had fallen down too but it definitely doesnt look quite right.

Will have a go at the PP again on the second and see if I can tone the background down a bit.
