Astrophotography scope for nikon

You could look here for telescopes and equipment. For astrophotography you really need a motorised mount. You can either use a mount with telescope and attach your camera, or buy a mount and stick your camera on that. It will need tracking to eliminate star trails on exposures more than about 10 seconds.

A word of warning, astrophotography is not cheap. A good motorised mount could be about £450, add a telescope, another couple of hundred at least, plus your camera adapter.

Cheapest way to go would be to use a tabletop motorised mount and fit your camera to that ( just like a tripod) and use long exposures, HERE. You need to check the mount will support your camera, there are others available!
A motorised mount with goto will enable you to find the objects easier.

Good luck
