The first shot is a peach. and they lose sparkle as you go down the set with the last one a bit boring.. All good shots.. nothing to critique as such.... But the first one set the standard :)

just read my post and it comes accross a bit harsh.. oops didnt mean to be.. what I mean is.. the three on there own I would say good set.. but the first one set a really high standard that the other three.. although good pics.. didnt match up to IMHO ... so not saying the other three are bad... just really impressed with #1

didnt want to sound harsh so best expalin :)

Liked them all, Bobby but the first one is a right cracker, well done!

Thanks all for the comments. The first is my own fav; and it was planned(y)

The brief was to build a library of the Scottish Athletes in their new kit, so I tended to stay safe on most of the shots. I could be a bit more creative though when the main shot was in the camera, and these are a few more I like from the day.

No 2 is great for me (as well as 1).

No1 is spot on, as others have said.

No2 is almost there, but doesn't have the "tension" in the image that it should have. It almost looks too static, even though the athlete is obviously moving, if that makes sense. No6 has that tension, and hence is the better image for me

not keen on the panned shots.. background hurts my eyes esp in #7

Nigel - it's the angle that I like in No 2.
