Hi everyone, thought I'd share a few images from this weekends A-League game between Brisbane Roar vs Newcastle Jets. It was the last game of the season (excluding finals) and the game was a dead rubber really, but the 2-1 scoreline in the Roar's favour meant that Newcastle took the wooden spoon this season.

Anyone recognise any of the players/coaches? :) Thanks for looking, any comments/criticism welcome!

That was what I was trying to show, glad you picked up on it! I have a shot of him tapping the ball into the net but unfortunately he's got his back to me so not very interesting.

Anyone who's interested, Brisbane's manager is Frans Thijssen and the goalkeeper is Jamie Young, ex Aldershot and Wycombe (among others).
 
Wow, really? The same Frans Thijssen that palyed for Ipswich Town in the 80's. I remember him, I was but a small fledgling myslef, but remember my Pannini sticker album with him. I had a fair few swaps, and needed Alan Brazil!
