WHY CAN'T YOU LOOK HUMAN WHEN I TAKE YOUR PICTURE
sorry for the shouting but a bit of a rant as I am going through the pictures for facebook and xmo of the xmedia awards and so many people look like they are in pain or having a fit to something when they are getting their award its unbelievable.
I have five frames of one winner and the best has her with a goldfish mouth and scary eyes !!!!!!!
How do you pro togs manage it? all I was paid was a bar token for a small glass of wine - it actually said small, apologies for the rant.
If anyone does have any advice about how to capture the handshakey bit then do let me know, it was too dark to use ambient (stage in the darkest part of the room at 1/80th f2.8 H1 (iso 6400) and I was in the wrong place for my nifty to be handy. So shot with a speedlight and stofen, pointing forwards as the ceilings were silly high so I had delays and crap shots and silly expressions yarghy.
