B&W Shot Folkestone

Aw gawd, My first post on the new site. It's bound to go tits up?!
Tech details are 1/100sec, F11, ISO200. Did a bit of fiddling in Silver Efex.

The B&W conversion is super, good tones all the way through.

The composition and subject seems rather fussy though, too much going on around the central subject.

Thanks very much for your comments. I really liked the shadows on the bricks but maybe cropping off a bit from the bottom would help. Make it less cluttered?

A point that I didn't notice in the first view - you are not quite sharp on the house. Your focal points are the ivy-clad concrete and the brick walls.

You could try some selective sharpening, but I think you should tick this one off and move on. There's too much twiggy intrusion to allow this ever to be a silk purse.
