A reflector would be the answer.

Also, a great way to get good baby pics is for someone to hold him/her. You need to support the neck area or they look odd.

Got catchlights and a nice DoF. Agree a bit of reflected/additional light could lift a little. I did a little PP myself (levels R/H slider down to 220, channel mixer red slider down 10 and green/blue up 5) just very minor stuff.
